All club coaches are volunteers. They are individuals who take their personal time to instruct and coach your child. Without their efforts this program would not be possible.

Here is a list of Olathe Express Coaches:
Coach Eniak-
Coach Eniak Mpwo: As an avid sprint runner for over 15 years, he continues to "practice what he preaches" by competing in a number of track events each year.
Coach Missy-
Coach Melissa Gore-Tate is embarking on 15 years as a Spirit & Performance Coach for OETC Track Club. After competing as a collegiate, Missy has found that volunteering her time with Olathe Express Track Club is as rewarding as competing itself.
Coach Jeremiah Baer -Middle Distance
Coach Victor Simmons
Sprint events (track): 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m, hurdle events
Jump events (track): long jump, high jump, triple jump
Volunteers
Team parents can volunteer to assist the coaches by:
- Helping with phone calls to team members
- Helping with organization of travel to meets
- Helping at practice set ups & clean ups
- Helping organize the end of the season team party and post-game refreshments.
At our HOME meets, we will operate the entire meet with volunteers (with the possible exception of event timing). In our experience, assuming full control of meet operation increases the likelihood of an efficient meet. In order to achieve this goal, however, we will need a larger time commitment. As we get closer to a HOME meet, we will discuss this in more detail.
